The challenge
French vehicle-rental operators do not usually fail for lack of an ANTAI login. They fail when fine notices arrive as PDFs and paper scans, designation evidence lives in a separate portal, and the driver who was on the vehicle that week lives in a spreadsheet. Ops paste plate numbers into three tools. OCR on a sales page meant an ID scan. Stationnement (FPS) paths and radar/ANTAI paths are not the same depth. Treated cases have no archive beside the active queue — so Monday morning is reconstruction under a hard designation clock. The industry gap is simple: a checkbox labeled “ANTAI” is not a fines workbench. Fine-notice OCR, bulk import, driver assignment, designation actions, FPS payment or contest, and a treated archive have to share one identity model with the rental contract or staff rebuild the story under time pressure.
Architecture
In FleetFlow, a French rental operations Admin built end to end by TechMania, fines are not a portal bookmark. The workbench ingests notices, retries OCR, assigns the driver, supports designation and FPS paths, and archives treated cases beside the same organization that owns rentals and vehicles. This case study isolates that fines workbench loop. It is not the full FleetFlow product story, and it is not the broader “ANTAI module vs designation workflow” industry piece covered separately on the TechMania blog. The surfaces that make up that loop: - Active fines — pending workbench with ANTAI CSV export, bulk import, driver assignment, OCR retry, notice download, designation actions, FPS payment/contest controls, and mark-treated - Processed fines — archive of treated cases with assigned driver, notice/payment evidence, contact shortcuts for follow-up, treatment workflow, and return-to-active when a case must reopen - Notifications — fine-assignment tasks land in the same notification center as other ops events, so designation work is not a separate inbox - Also in the same Admin: rentals, drivers, weekly invoices, inspections, and staff roles — so a fine can be opened next to the contract and the driver record without leaving the product OCR here means fine-notice OCR that feeds the designation workbench — not ID or permis scan alone. FPS (stationnement) and ANTAI-oriented paths sit as explicit actions on the same queue.
Solution
Need an ANTAI fines workbench with fine-notice OCR, designation actions, and a treated archive inside the same rental Admin as contracts and drivers? https://techmania.solutions
Results
What this changes for operators: - Fine notices enter a workbench with OCR retry and bulk import instead of a shared drive folder - Driver assignment and designation actions sit beside the notice — not in a parallel spreadsheet - FPS payment/contest and mark-treated close the case; the processed archive keeps evidence and contact shortcuts - Ops can move from import → OCR → assign → designate/treat → archive without rebuilding the story from chat - Staff roles keep fines work with the right tier instead of one oversized Admin login for everyone
